Jay Williamson D.O. is a long time Tulsan who has been in practice since 1996. Dr. Williamson has the experience, knowledge and wisdom to understand the needs of women throughout their reproductive years and beyond.

Dr. Williamson graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. He earned his medical degree in 1990 from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 1991 Dr. Williamson completed his rotating internship, followed by the completion of a four year OB-GYN residency in 1995 – all at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.

When asked why he chose the specialty of obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Williamson says: “What led me to obstetrics and gynecology was the happy and positive nature of the specialty as well as the variety of medical care and surgical procedures. Working in the labor and delivery unit was my first experience outside the classroom and I felt this specialty was my calling”.

Dr. Williamson is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Tulsa County Medical Society, Tulsa OB-GYN Society, Oklahoma State Medical Association, Oklahoma Osteopathic Association, Menopause Society, and “Best of the Best” Tulsa Physicians.

On a personal level, Dr. Williamson has been happily married for over 40 years.  He and his wife have two children and four grandchildren. They are very active in their church and community. Dr. Williamson enjoys golf, fitness, and other outdoor activities.

Sarah Bevilacqua was born and raised in Texas, but happily came to Oklahoma in her early adult life. She graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015. She then entered the Master of Science in Nursing program at Vanderbilt University, specializing in Women’s Health, and graduated in 2016. She has practiced as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner since.

Her background and training includes pediatric and adolescent gynecology as well as general obstetrics and gynecology. She is also trained as a Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Most recently, she has also completed training in weight management.

When asked why she chose these specialties, she said “A passion for assisting women throughout the lifespan fits seamlessly with practicing both obstetrics and gynecology as well as weight management. I enjoy being able to practice in both roles and assist our patients in whatever stage of life they are in.”

Sarah has been happily married to her husband, Samuel, a native Tulsan, since 2018. She and Samuel enjoy traveling and spending time with their three children. They are active in their church community and are thankful for a large extended family in the Tulsa area.

Melissa enjoys seeing patients of all ages and is passionate about reproductive and sexual health. She believes it’s important to listen to patients and their concerns. She loves all aspects of women’s healthcare, including health education, contraception, menopause, and complex gynecology issues.

Outside of work, she likes reading crime or mystery novels, watching TV shows, trying new restaurants with friends, baking for others, and testing new recipes. In 2012, she married her husband, Dustin, and they have a rabbit named Blue.

Katie Bynum Sandman was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She earned her undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Science, with an option in Child and Family Services, from Oklahoma State University. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University, specializing in Women’s Health, graduating in 2024.

Prior to becoming a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Katie worked as a registered nurse for five years in an inpatient hospital setting, with experience in gynecology, oncology, and medical-surgical care. She joined the team in January 2026 and provides care in gynecology and hormone replacement therapy.

Katie especially enjoys caring for adolescent patients and helping young women feel comfortable as they begin seeing a gynecologist for the first time. When asked why she chose this field, she said, “Having my own personal health needs with a gynecologist at a young age inspired me to become someone patients can truly talk to. I want them to feel heard, supported, and understood. I love being able to carry that passion into caring for women of all ages and helping them feel confident as we work together to find their best treatment options.”

Katie is married to her husband, Jackson, and has two stepchildren Rori and Oliver. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, spending time outdoors, traveling, trying new restaurants, and having game nights. She and her husband are active in their church community and enjoy serving where they can.
